Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center has over 75 summer staff positions in a variety of areas including Kids and Youth Programs, Food Service (wait staff, dishes, kitchen, coffee shop), Housekeeping, and more. All positions are paid and include room and board and have the opportunity to raise additional funds and/or earn a scholarship to help pay for college tuition.  Time off is provided for fellowship, relaxation, and exploring one of the most beautiful coastal areas in the Pacific Northwest. Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center has been offering one week family Bible conferences since 1945.  Our staff has the opportunity to join this heritage of ministry while learning new job skills, making new friends, earning money for school, and growing in their walk with Christ. Applicants should be at least 18 years of age with a desire to serve in a family-oriented Christian ministry.

Position Responsibilities

Plan and lead contemporary worship services for the congregation

Work alongside the Minister of Worship and Music to discover and absorb the worship culture of Messiah Lutheran Church

Attract and develop talented musicians to lead worship

Provide spiritual leadership for the newly formed and established worship teams

Position Qualifications:

Passion for listening to God’s direction

Prayerful, spiritual depth and strong theological grounding in the Triune God

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships

Ability to teach and inspire others to serve in worship leadership

Accomplished singer and musician on any contemporary leading instrument (e.g., guitar or keyboard)

Able to lead worship on your own with that instrument

Understanding and familiarity or an aptitude for learning audio and multimedia technologies and associated software

Imaginative, collaborative, and flexible

HOUSING SPECIALIST - Open Until Filled 

Be part of an energetic and innovative team that provides a Transitional Housing Program for culturally diverse, homeless youth, ages 16-21. The position is 34 hours a week, two swing and two overnight shifts, might also include some week-ends. Team members take on lead responsibilities and are engaged in continuing to develop and improve the program. We are looking for someone who has two years experience working in the areas of at-risk youth, homeless youth or shelter/housing programs; BA/BS in a related field is a plus.  Spanish language ability valued, diversity highly valued.  $11/hr+ full benefits.
