Human Resources Specialist (Trainee)GS-5/7Student Career Experience Program(Formerly Coop)
Duties: Incumbent will work with higher graded Human Resource Specialist in order to gain experience in the areas of recruitment, placement, and classification.
Serves as an HR consultant by providing guidance on HR matters; responding to routine HR inquiries regarding recruitment, staffing, and classification,; ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and consistency with merit system principles; communicating changes to HR procedures and policies to managers, supervisors, employees and applicants.
